DESCRIPTION: Vamos dar a conhecer a olaria e modelação do barro.  \nA atividade proporciona a prática do trabalho na roda do oleiro e sensibilização aos vários processos envolventes assim como métodos de construção paralelos. Tendo por base a arte da produção milenar de artefactos a partir do barro\, pretende-se a abordagem aos diversos materiais e utensílios\, com técnicas variadas. \nObjetivos | Dar a conhecer os fundamentos e simbologia deste ofício ancestral e transversal à humanidade\, as qualidades do barro\, as técnicas de modelação e a sua cozedura. A formação é prática\, com rodas de oleiro\, e serão fabricadas peças artesanais que os participantes levarão para casa. \nConteúdos: \n\nIntrodução e apresentação\nAmassar e preparar o barro\nPrática de Olaria: centrar o barro\, fazer tigelas\, copos\, pratos\, canecas\nAcabamentos nas peças\nObservar e compreender o ciclo de secagem\nAprender a fazer fretes\, colagens e pegamentos\nDecorações finais usando carimbos\, esgrafitado e polimento\n\nDestinatários | Adultos e crianças. Todos os que queiram aprender e tenham interesse por técnicas rudimentares e manuais\, de forma introdutória ou queiram aprofundar conhecimentos na área da cerâmica e barro. Based on the ancient art of crafting artifacts from clay\, the goal is to explore various materials and utensils using various techniques. \nObjectives | To familiarize participants with the fundamentals and symbolism of this ancient and universal craft\, the qualities of clay\, modeling techniques\, and firing. The training is practical\, involving potter’s wheels\, and participants will create handmade pieces to take home. \nContents: \n\nIntroduction and presentation\nKneading and preparing the clay\nPottery practice: centering clay\, making bowls\, cups\, plates\, and mugs\nFinishing touches on the pieces\nObserving and understanding the drying cycle\nLearning to make edges\, attachments\, and joinings\nFinal decorations using stamps\, sgraffito\, and polishing\n\nAudience | Adults and children. Anyone interested in learning and intrigued by rudimentary and manual techniques\, either as an introduction or for those wanting to deepen their knowledge in ceramics and clay.
